About

Michael’s always been obssessed with creating visuals. He was one of those kids that was always drawing, painting, and crafting. No better way to spend his time then developing an idea into an artwork.

Then, at secondary school he studied media, and he made his first video.
The creative decisions seemed endless, not least because he could mix visuals with audio. Combining dialogue with music, sound effects - he could supercharge emotions. Planning, storyboarding, directing, editing - he loved it.

Filled with enthusiam, he studied ‘Media Practice and Theory’, at the University of Sussex, earning a first-class honours and degree.
His graduation project into an won ‘Best Documentary’ at London Independent Film Festival in 2014. At just 21, he sold footage of his documentary to the BBC.

In 2013, he entered the media industry, focusing mainly on post-production roles at documentary companies. He also worked in pre-production, researching locations, searching for talent, developing treatments, as well as assisting on set with small crews - filming, recording audio, lighting, covering most aspects of film-making.

After exploring several roles in the industry, he ultimately found his home in video editing. He discovered a passion for collaborating with directors and producers to craft the pace, flow, and emotional heartbeat of a story. Working across a wide range of genres and formats, Michael has sharpened a keen eye—and ear—for shaping narratives that truly resonate. Through thoughtful timing, well-balanced pacing, and emotional depth, he brings stories to life while upholding clear and consistent visual storytelling.
